Las Cruces, NM– Arca Space is in some hot waters as Lipton cracks down on them with a lawsuit. The lawsuit is stemmed from what Lipton considers to be patent infringement of there bulk tea production method, a machine also known as B.T.P.
Lipton ambassador Hans Zoomer explained in an official statement Tuesday morning that Arca Space used corporate espionage to obtain the B.T.P. schematics.
"Our bulk tea production method patented, and only 2 months after Arca Space announced the LAS, which used nearly identical hardware for heating the water. We have investigated the matter, and concluded that Arca Space likely used corporate espionage to obtain our bulk tea production method.
Lipton is suing Arca Space for 4.3 billion dollars, as well as possible future lawsuits for corporate espionage. Arca has made no official response to our requests for comment.
