Blue Origin to develop an orbital variant of New Shepard, says New Glenn is taking "too long"

Kent, WA--Blue Origin has announced their newest rocket: the New Shepard Heavy. In a recent public statement, their CEO Jeff Bezos said " New Glenn is just taking too long, we really need a way to get to space now! ". This comes after multiple delays to the New Glenn rocket, which may be canceled soon based on the announcement New Shepard Heavy.

Blue Origin has stated that the New Shepard Heavy will use cross-feed in between its three boosters, and have an all new second stage, powered by the BE-5 engine, which is now being produced. The second stage is also recoverable, with its own heat shield and parachutes. The estimated launch date is May of this year, narrowly beating out the first orbital attempt of starship, and claiming the title for the first fully reusable rocket.
