Starship to do a hoverslam maneuver with no engines

Starbase, Texas - In a recent announcement, SpaceX CEO M’lon Eusk stated that the starship would do a hoverslam without using it’s engines. He stated, “Starship will use only it’s flaps to transition from Horizontal to Vertical and will be caught via a huge net. We are doing this to ensure the highest safety margins of the Belly Flop. Most issues we had incurred on test flights were caused by the Raptor’s Underperforming or simply destroying themselves. Hence the reason we will now be using only the flaps..”

We talked with Harcus Mouse, the Raptor Technician and here is what he has to say about the matter. “I don’t know what is the problem with the current design. The Raptors make it look cooler. Now the whole project will undergo a massive change. We need to build a big net and I might be shifted to that project.”

“M’lon has some crazy ideas but what will happen if a Starship comes atop my roof instead of the landing net?” Said a very worried resident. This change might move the whole course of the program. Plans are still unknown for the Lunar and Martian landings.
